Yacht Club Trades and Systems Warning
We have a strong tradition of being a do-it-yourself club, with members pitching in to help or make repairs where needed. However, we need to be aware that in our wonderful new building, we have professional warranties in place across all our trades and systems including plumbing – electric – HVAC - kitchen equipment – audio – security – fire alarm – elevator – Wi-Fi – fire suppression tank – septic system – beer piping system - soda dispenser – doors and windows. Those warranties could be voided, and we could incur liability if we interfere with or change any of the systems, including changing simple settings. If you see something that needs attention, please report it to a member of the Board – particularly to John Latimer, Buildings & Grounds chair, or Judy Wetzel, House chair, and they can refer a problem to the appropriate club contact.
