Fair Winds Regatta

This year's mid-September races benefitted the Dove Center in Oakland.  The center provides safety, advocacy, and counseling to individuals whose lives have been shattered by domestic violence and/or sexual assault.

In 2021, 19 boats participated and raised over $2,000.00.  There were three races on Saturday, with nice winds.  Sunday was gusty, but sailors chose to race.  Awards were donated by Peter Frey's estate.

Yoga

While keeping our own sails full, we receive and give back to the circle of love!

Thank you to all the yogis who participated in the glorious Monday morning yoga on the pavilion! It’s such a lovely way to start the day/week while taking in the beauty of our lake, fresh air, blue sky and occasional catching a glimpse of the little critters and sailing school.

Our weekly donations added up to $900.00, all of which will go to the Sailing School. This year’s proceeds will purchase mooring covers for the 420 sailboats.

Please note that it is very important to have this address (204 Yacht Club Rd., off of Turkey Neck) handy in case of emergency.
When dialing 911 for help at the club, make sure you mention that we are the Sailing Club off of Turkey Neck Road to prevent EMS from going to the wrong club.  It may also help to note that they will pass both Ezra Savage Road and Skipjack Lane before arriving at Yacht Club Road.
43880A and 43880B are the club's dock numbers, in case of an emergency on the water. 9-1-1 can alert DNR water dispatch.
