➤ Nestled in the mountains of Western Maryland, Deep Creek Lake Sailing Association (also known as Deep Creek Yacht Club at Turkey Neck) is a center of summer activities, where its members enjoy weekend sailboat racing on Deep Creek Lake, as well as a full schedule of social activities.  Members actively volunteer to keep the club humming.  Sound fun?  Stop in, contact a member, or see our page for prospective members.
➤ New or rusty sailors, both juniors and adults, are encouraged take lessons with the excellent instructors at Deep Creek Sailing School. You do not need to own a boat to take lessons.
➤ Deep Creek Lake Sailing Association (DCLSA) welcomes all sailors of any skill level to come out and race.  A separate but closely affiliated organization, DCYRA, runs the races for all sailors on Deep Creek Lake.  Races are held on weekends and Wednesday evenings, June through September -- with separate starts for Gold, Silver, Master’s, and Challenger fleets in Flying Scots, as well as a start for Lasers.

If you already own a Scot and would like to try racing, please join the Challenger fleet, where the emphasis is on fun and learning. Experienced skippers are available to assist with your first races. For further information please send an email to DCYRA, or register for the fleet online. 

For those interested in serving as crew for an active racing boat, please subscribe to the DCYRA email list and let other members know of your availability. Subscribe here.
This group is a good place to pair up skipper and crew from week to week.
There is a public facebook page for Turkey Neck's Yacht Club.
 Please note that as per DCLSA Bylaws, privileges of the club are limited to members, and immediate family, which includes children up to the age of 23 or those enrolled full time in school.  This consideration applies to social media.
CLUBHOUSE HOURS

The clubhouse is closed from 4:00 pm Mondays until 4:00 pm Wednesdays.

Official Hours During the Summer Season are:

Monday ........ 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Tuesday ........ Club Closed
Wednesday ... 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Thursday ....... 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
Friday ............ 9:00 am to 11:00 pm
Saturday ....... 9:00 am to 11:00 pm
Sunday .......... 9:00 am to 9:00 pm

Docks, launch ramp, decks, & restrooms are available when Club is closed.
