⛵ Updated again, 8/2/22 -- assignments have been revised.
-- An email was sent with 2022 assignments for FS moorings, drysail, and lifts. The file is also here on the website. Click here to go to the file. It has been an wonderful sailing season at Deep Creek Lake! I hope everyone has been able to get out on the water and enjoy! There have been some updates to the assignments for Flying Scot moorings, lifts, and drysail spots. It is exciting to have some new boats join the fleet and there are some boats that have moved to a lift. Attached is the current picture for what boat lives where. If this chart does not reflect actually where your boat sleeps, please let me know! And if you have any requests for changes in the future, please send me an email before the end of the season. There is increased wave action on the lake so keeping an eye on your boat is important. Please remember to regularly check that your Flying Scot does not have much water in the bilge, your plug is secure, your cover is firmly attached, and your mooring line hooks are secure and the line intact.. Also please note that the "dinghy' has damage to the stern bumper and the engine cover. Please, when using the dinghy, do not approach the dock in reverse (stern toward dock). Additionally, when securing the boat to dock at the end of use, please make sure it is not going to hit any other boats especially if there is wave action. Hope to see you out sailing! Joni Palmer
